The truth of how Clear
came to be is lost, even to themselves. Facts that can be agreed
upon are:
Mark
wanted nothing more than to write songs
Neil quite fancied the idea too
They tried it together
Craig loved what he heard enough to move cities and join them.
Fast forward a few
years...
Clear
became really quite good
The record industry went from bad to worse
Clear's fan club, insistent that the band should release a record,
funded the band's debut album
They recorded the album 'Coming Round' inbetween their day jobs
Record companies asked if they can release it
Clear picked the only one they trust.
Clear’s
debut single released and gained international radio play and praise.
First TV interview.
Second
single released and gained further plays internationally and in
the UK.
Acoustic sessions for UK radio.
Then…
Not much else happened.
